چکیده

Development of a plant disease like Phoma blight (Phoma sojicola) soybean ]Glycine max (L.) Merr.] in time and space is variable, largely depending on environmental factors temperature, precipitation humidity. Considering importance this disease, understanding its dynamics via mathematical statistical models will help forecasting prevention yield losses. To serve objective, present study epidemiology leaf was carried out under natural epiphytotic conditions 2 cultivars (Shalimar 1 Kashmir local) at research farm Sher-e-Kashmir University Agricultural Sciences Technology Jammu, Jammu during rainy (kharif) season 2019 2020. Weather significantly influenced development irrespective crop cultivar as revealed by correlation matrix between weekly score weather preceding one three weeks. Disease intensity found positively correlated with RH rains while the temperature negative. It followed similar trend all sets parameter week that 3rd weeks have contributed to extent 57, 50 51%, respectively. The further reveals optimum for events pathogenesis besides inoculum dispersal case lies below 25oC relative humidity must be above 90% made possible when it least once summer.

Resolving the Phoma enigma.

The Didymellaceae was established in 2009 to accommodate Ascochyta, Didymella and Phoma, as well as several related phoma-like genera. The family contains numerous plant pathogenic, saprobic and endophytic species associated with a wide range of hosts. Ascochyta and Phoma are morphologically difficult to distinguish, and species from both genera have in the past been linked to Didymella sexual ...

Mal secco disease of Citrus - Phoma tracheiphila

Mal secco disease is a vascular pathogen causing serious damage and death to the host, particularly lemon, in Citrus and related genera, in Mediterranean countries and the Black Sea region. So far, however, it is unknown in Spain, Portugal and Morocco, as well as other major Citrus-growing regions of the world. Symptoms include red strands visible in stem xylem as well as veinal chlorosis, wilt...

Redisposition of phoma-like anamorphs in Pleosporales

UNLABELLED The anamorphic genus Phoma was subdivided into nine sections based on morphological characters, and included teleomorphs in Didymella, Leptosphaeria, Pleospora and Mycosphaerella, suggesting the polyphyly of the genus. Recent molecular, phylogenetic studies led to the conclusion that Phoma should be restricted to Didymellaceae. The present study focuses on the taxonomy of excluded Ph...

Soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr].

In this chapter we describe an Agrobacterium tumefaciens transformation method of soybean that utilizes mature half seeds and regeneration from the cotyledonary node region. This method results in fertile transformed soybean plants and transgenic seed in approximately 9 months. Using mature half seeds as starting material has proven to be a reliable method that does not require additional wound...

Effect of Gamma Irradiation on Some Biochemical Parameters and Physico-chemical Properties of Oil in Soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] .

The soybean (Glycine max l. merr) is one of oil seed plants from leguminous family. In this study, the effect of gamma radiation on chlorophyll, soluble and insoluble carbohydrate and composition oil seeds were investigated in soybean. Soybean variety J.K was irradiated with 0,100,200 and 300 gamma ray. The treatment and control seeds planed in with four replicates. The highest amount of total ...
